📄 Return & Refund Policy – Nurtura
At Nurtura, we are committed to providing high-quality products designed to support you through pregnancy and postpartum. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, please review our policy below.
1. Returns Eligibility
Due to the personal and hygienic nature of our products (including maternity support bands and postpartum recovery items), we only accept returns under the following conditions:
- The item is unused, unworn, and in its original condition
- All original packaging, tags, and seals are intact
- The return request is made within 7 days of delivery
For hygiene and safety reasons, we cannot accept returns on items that have been:
- Worn or used
- Opened or unsealed where applicable
- Damaged due to misuse
2. Defective or Incorrect Items
In accordance with the Consumer Protection Act (CPA), you are entitled to a remedy if a product is defective, damaged, or not as described.
If you receive a defective or incorrect item, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with:
- Your order number
- Clear photos of the issue
We will:
- Arrange a replacement, or
- Issue a refund, where applicable
3. Cooling-Off Period (Online Orders)
As per South African consumer law, customers may cancel an online order within 7 days of delivery.
Please note:
- Items must still meet our return eligibility conditions (unused, sealed, etc.)
- The customer is responsible for return shipping costs
- A reasonable handling/restocking fee may be deducted where applicable
4. Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected:
- Approved refunds will be processed within 5–10 business days
- Refunds will be issued to your original payment method
Please note:
- Shipping fees are non-refundable
- Refunds may be partially deducted if items are not returned in original condition (where legally permitted)
5. Exchanges
We currently do not offer direct exchanges.
If you require a different size or product, please place a new order.
